The long over due NY post!

So, We all got to go to NY because Beth agreed to host a ThirtyOne party for me!
It's sad that we needed an excuse to go up,
but I am so glad I had an excuse!!
Beth had such a great party with awesome group of girls
that I get to go back!! I'm having another party up there!

ok, so the harbor is frozen.

and there were men ice fishing on it!

so, i decided it would be fun to go out on the ice! It had been so long since I had done that, and I was up for the challenge! Nate went first. I was still pushing Matt and checking it out.

Then, all of a sudden, we realized that Ellie was in the water!

It was so crazy scary!

I thought, it's going to be cold to go in there to get her.

Then I thought, oh my goodness!! she is already in htere!!

Then all i said was "Get in there!" Adam was the brave one!

and he got his foot wet! thank goodness she wasn't far in!

but far enough in that we striped her down, put adams sweatshirt on and my coat on then put her in the stroller. So here she is back at the house ready to get new dry clothes on!

they were watching the guys make pizza at the restaurant in town!

on the way home, we went to the saracuse zoo!

the elephant was on the move! we saw it down a side road! it was awesome!!

Movie Nights Rock!

When life allows, Friday is movie night in the Stickle house!!
We have had a couple the past few months!!
Here is the night we watched The BEE Movie!

Now, we watch the Bee Movie in the van ALL THE TIME!!
and I do mean, all the time!!

and also remember, that it is dark in the room!!

I wish I could really explain what a "comfy" is.
You really need to feel one to get the idea!
The children (mainly Josh) gather all, and i do mean ALL
the blankets, pillows, stuffed animals (anything comfy)
from the whole house!! even from our bed (on a good night)

Now, this movie night started later than normal.
So, when asked the comfy question ("can we make one?")
I new that we didn't have the energy to clean it up...so the answer was no.

but, here is their attempt at the biggest small comfy they could get away with!!
so, it looks like they are being good a brother and sister...
but they are just getting all the comfy they can!!
