I Opened My Kit!!

Last night I opened my Kit from Thirty One Gifts!!

Now it's official!! I am a consultant!! And I'm already having so much fun!!

I was so glad I got to open it with friends, rather than alone!!

Josh has been busy too!

Valentines Day party was so fun!

They made "love bugs", played games,

ate yummy brownies, and shared Valentines!

Snowy Day

With all the snow melted here in Zelie this past weekend,

the kids were so excited that there was some at grandma and grandpas!

Grandpa had Monday off for Presidents Day and

took the kids sledding! They has more fun this year than they did last year!!

ok, so last time i dumped my photos from my camera card, i left the card in the laptop...and forgot to get it out! so, i need to get it back and take some photos and video of the little man!!

Um, What!?

While the boys were sleeping today, Ellie and I were watching HGTV as I dream of the perfect home.
A commercial for Bobby Flay comes on and randomly, Ellie says:
"He cooks good food."

1. How does she know who this guy is?
2. How does she know he cooks good food?

So, I ask: "How do you know he cooks good food?"
She senses my confusion, but thinks perhaps she has offended me
and responds:
"You cook good food for us."

I wish I could capture the compassion on her face and the cuteness of her half falling out pigtails that makes the moment that much more precious!

I am so glad I am married to a "teacher for life"
Adam loves to keep up with the Caldecott Award books
and this one truly lives up to the award!

This is the first true picture book I have seen in a while!!

we drove past this house, all lit up! and they had these little scenes.
