We have had a big week!
Last Thursday afternoon we left for Greensboro, NC for Joe and Laurens wedding.
Joe lived with us last spring and helped us with the kids!
We made it half way and stopped for pizza and time in the pool!
Ellie loved jumping (really stepping) into the water!
Friday we arrived in Greensboro in time for lunch and met up with Joe at the tuxedo shop! It was so funny because the tux shop packed an XL vest in with Josh's little shirt, pants and shoes instead of a XS. It was so funny because it was such a silly mistake! Josh loved his fancy outfit and didn't want to take it off.
"These are the most comfortable fancy shoes I have ever worn!" said Josh.
Then we headed to High Point for the rehersal. We wanted to get there early to let Josh and Cecilia get aquainted with each other and the BIG church! They were so happy to see each other! The rehersal went well and the kids walked the aisle. When they sat down, I gave them some candy and promised them more the next day when they walked the aisle again. There were a lot of people at the rehersal and I really think that helped the kids.
Dinner was wonderful!
This is Josh, Cecilia and Eliza (the flower girls)The cake was so Joe and Lauren!

They gave Josh a ukulele as a thank you gift for being in the wedding. Joe was just as excited as Josh! It was so fun to watch him open it!

Ellie loved the cake!

and it was such a joy to sit with Kenny and his new wife!
It was such a crazy night! After we left dinner (and stopped to get new binkies) we headed over to the house we were staying in. After the first trip into the house with a sleeping baby and one bag of stuff, we locked the keys and the new binkies in hte car! So, Ellie had a long night! Our poor hosts. To make it worse, when AAA came in the morning at 8am, the alarm went off as the boys "broke" into the car! I felt so bad since we did not know the people we were staying with! But they were so hospitable!
